Obit of Theodore LEWIS [excerpts]

Theodore G. "Ted" LEWIS, 55, of Neillsville and formerly of Green Co, died Thurs 3 Nov 1988...Neillsville...born 10 July 1933 in Juda to Granville G. & Fern LEWIS...attended Monticello schools...married Mayona L. JOHNSON 17 July, 1954 in Neillsville...worked in Monroe until 1953, when he moved to Neillsville to work for the Kurt-Marg Fur Farm...drove a truck for the Neillsville Coop Transport before owning & operating a farm in the town of Pine Valley...was a member of the Neillsville Men's Club...survived by his mother, Fern, of Neillsville; three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Phoebe) BERTZ of King George VA, Mrs. Duane (Tammy) MARTY of Neillsville & Mrs. Alexander (Lisa) DAHLKE of Round Lake Beach IL; a son, Dennis of Jacksonville FL; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Carla) UFKEN of Monticello, Mrs. Ted (Pat) HAUGO of Big Fork MT & Mrs. John (Mary Jane) PETTIT of Granton; two brothers, Jerry of Florence MT & Roger of Darby MT; and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father. Funeral Sat [5 Nov 1988] at Zion Lutheran Church in the town of Pine Valley, with the Rev Alice L. HILL officiating. Burial was in the town of Pine Valley Cemetery.
