Snyder, Estella (15 Augl 1867 - 17 Jun 1918)

Mrs. Estella Snyder died at her home in this city Jun 17, 1918, after a long illness. She was born on Pleasant Ridge Aug. 15, 1867, her maiden name being Estella Selves. She was married to August Snyder Sept. 28, 1887. They lived several years in Iowa, but most of their married life was spent here (Clark County, Wis.). Mr. Snyder died in Feb. 1915.

Mrs. Snyder was a woman of beautiful character, a kind and helpful wife, mother and neighbor in her days of health and strength, and patient and cheerful in troubles and sickness. She was loved by all.

She leaves six children: Ernest, who is in the army at Camp Grant, Mrs. N. J. Scherer of Neillsville, Mrs. T. V. Carleton of Adams and Edna, Lucille and Charles at home. She leaves also her aged mother and four brothers: Richard, William, Thomas and Ted Selves.

Deceased was a member of the eastern Star and the beaver Queens.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Congregation Church, Rev. G.W. Longenecker officiating. The Order of Eastern Star will attend.

The son Ernest is home from Camp Grant for the funeral.
