Forman, Ettie (11 NOV 1872 - 14 NOV 1921)

This community received a sudden shock of sorrow Monday to learn that Mrs. Wheeler Forman had passed away that afternoon. Mrs. Forman drove her auto on Saturday afternoon tot he home of her father-in-law, C. E. Forman, beyond Christie; as she entered the house, she was stricken with apoplexy and apparently did not recover consciousness.

Mrs. Forman, whose maiden name was Ettie Jones, was born at Aztalan, Jefferson, Co., Wis., Nov. 11, 1872. She moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jones, to Clark County, Wis., when she was a child. She grew to womanhood here, attended country school and Neillsville High School, and was married to Wheeler Forman July 1, 1891.

She was a lady of exceptional talents; she had a keen intelligence, a rare appreciation of music and had a broadly sympathetic mind. She was a kindly neighbor and good wife and mother.

She leaves her husband and two children, Leland Forman of Beloit and Mrs. William Glasow of this city; also her mother, Mrs. Sarah Jones, and three sisters: Mrs. Warren Telyea of Sparta, Mrs. B. D. Elliot of Watsonville, Cal., Mrs. L. E. Hushour of Grand Rapids, Mich., and one brother, George Jones, of this city.

Funeral services are held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock at the house, Rev. W. T. Scott officiating. Those out of the city attending the funeral are Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Forman and Mrs. Clara Fricke of Beloit, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Telyea and daughter, Ruth, of Sparta, and Mrs. E. J. Brooks, also of Sparta.
