Jensen, Alfred H. (11 Augl 1881 - 15 Mar 1934)

Alfred H.K. Jensen was born in Denmark Aug. 11, 1881 and passed away at Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.March 15, 1934 at 4:00 p.m. of a heart attack.

Mr. Jensen came to this country in 1902, settling at Oshkosh, where he was employed for three years. In 1905 he went to Neillsville where he worked as a blacksmith for Len Huckstead and Wolff and Korman for about eight years.

He was united in marriage to Miss Lottie E. Larson of this city Aug. 22, 1907 at Winona, Minn. They have no children. In 1913 he entered the insurance business which he followed until his death. They lived five years at Rice Lake and seven years in Minneapolis, returning to Neillsville about seven yars ago.

He is survived by his wife; one sister, Mrs. Olga Van Hauter of Racine; a half brother, Axel Kroll of Duluth, Minn.; one brother and four sisters in Denmark.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Masonic Temple in Neillsville at 2:00 o’clock with Masonic rites and with the Rev. Geo. Longenecker delivering the short eulogy and prayer. The body was laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery beside two brothers who preceded him in death. The members of the Masonic order who acted as pallbearers were Wm. A. Campman, Carl Juvrud, Jule Neverman, Jess Scott, Geo. Gree, James Musil, Geo. E. Rude and Geo. Zimmerman, all of Neillsville.
