Nina F. Langreck, 82

Loving wife, mother and grandmother

Nina F. Langreck gave up her battle with a prolonged illness on Feb. 21, 2005, in Alamogordo.

She was born in Hoopa, Calif., on Aug. 24, 1922, the daughter of Pliny and Shirley Jackson.

Mrs. Langreck was an elder in the Hoopa Valley Indian Tribe in Northern California and served in World War II. She is survived by two daughters, Dora Richardson and husband, Virgil, of Tucson, Ariz., and Cecilia Conrad and husband, Brian, of Alamogordo; grandchildren Michael and Christopher Richardson of Tucson, and Jacob Conrad of Alamogordo.

She is also survived by one brother and two sisters, all of Hoopa, Calif. She was preceded in death by both parents.

A funeral mass and burial will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville, Wis.

Local arrangements were under the direction of Sears Alamogordo Funeral Home.
