Stabnow, Anna (15 JUN 1932)

The marriage of Miss Anna Stabnow, daughter of Mrs. August Stabnow, town of Beaver to Vaner Lindgren, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Lindgren, Owen, took place Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock, June 15. The Rev. J. D. Crandall of Merrilan performed the ceremony before an arch of ferns and spring flowers in the Rural Union Chapel, south of Owen. The chapel also was decorated in white, orchid and green.

Mrs. Luella Severson, sister of the bride served as maid of honor and Miss Dolores Lindgren, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother, Axel.

The bride wore a gown of light pearl satin made ankle length and carried a shower bouquet of roses and carnations. The maid of honor wore a dress of light green organdy and the bridesmaid a dress of orchid organdy, both dresses being made ankle length and both wore white slippers and shoulder bouquets.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents for 150 guests and luncheon was served at 4:30 o’clock. Out of town guests included relatives from South Dakota, Montana, Illinois and Minnesota.

Mr. and Mrs. Lindgren will make their home at Andover, S. D. where the groom is engaged in farming. The well wishes of a large host of friends and relatives follow the young couple on the journey.
