Woik, Pauline (21 Nov. 1892 - 19 Nov. 1968)

COLBY, WIS. - Mrs. Pauline Woik, 75, of route 1, Owen, died Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in the town of Green Grove. The Rev. Arthur Raasch will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.

Friends May call at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby beginning Thursday morning.

The former Pauline Sommer was born in the town of Green Grove Nov. 21, 1892. She was married Nov. 21, 1912, to Robert Dietrich, who preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1921. The couple lived at Ladysmith and Little Falls, Minn., for several years and than returned to the town of Green Grove. She was married to Paul Woik Aug. 20, 1928. The couple lived on a farm in Green Grove since their marriage.

She was a member of the Ladies Aid of St. Paul’s Church and had been the church organist for many years.

Other survivors included four daughters, Mrs. Hans (Gertrude) Hennlich, Milwaukee; Mrs. Adolph (Marion) Stacke, Curtiss; Mrs. N. (Grace) Krueger, Franklin, Wis.; and Mrs. Theodore (Bernice) Miller, Curtiss; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
