Owen - Services for Mrs. Elsa Hardrath, 83, route 1, Owen, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in the Town of Green Grove. Mrs. Hardrath died Friday while visiting in Atlanta, Ga.

The Rev. Steven J. Hasenstein, pastor will officiate at the Monday service, and burial will be made in the Town f Beaver cemetery.

Visitations May be made at the Lullof Funeral Home, Colby, beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The former Elsa Lange was born June 9, 1891, in the Town of Green Grove and was married there March 26, 1913, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church to Herman Hardrath. He preceded her in death May 9, 1970. Mr. and Mrs. Hardrath had spent all of their married life farming in the town of Green Grove.

The couple had observed the golden anniversary of their marriage in 1963.

She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.

Survivors include three sons, Harold, route 1, Unity and Howard and Hulbert, both of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, Julius Lange, Holcombe, Arthur Lange, Milwaukee, and Robert Lange, Hartford, Conn.; a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Freida) Collipp, Milwaukee; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
