UNITY WOMAN DIES AT AGE 82

UNITY, WIS. - Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Roycraft Funeral Home in Loyal for Mrs. Erna E. Price, 82, of route 1, Unity, who died early Friday at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Edward Baum of Withee, bible student speaker, will officiate and burial will be made in the town of Beaver Cemetery.

Visitations May be made at the Roycraft Funeral Home in Loyal beginning at noon Sunday.

The former Erna Schenk was born Jan. 28, 1889, in Sheboygan. She came to the town of Green Grove as a small child and received her education three. She was married April 17, 1907, in the town of Green Grove, Clark County, to August Price, who preceded her in death [5 Sept. 1959].

The couple operated a farm in the town of Green Grove, where she had made her home for 63 years. She left the town of Green Grove, Nov. 10, 1970, when she entered the Memorial Home at Neillsville.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Laura Kovatch, Medford; Mrs. Chester (Hilda) Vine and Mrs. Hugh (Freida) Vine, both of Janesville; Mrs. Warrne (Verena) Thomas, Birchwood; and Mrs. Ray (Grace) Johnson, Loyal; two sons, Ernest Price, Unity; and Edward Price, Milwaukee; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Hess, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Florence Dahl, Oshkosh.
