Johnson, Clara (1843 - 9 Jan 1931)

Mrs. Clara Johnson, widow of the late Enoch Johnson of this village, was buried here last Sunday afternoon. Funeral services were held in Greenwood Sunday at the home of her daughter Mrs. George Gardner, and were conducted by the Rev. Householder.

Mrs. Johnson died in Greenwood at the home of her daughter on Friday, following an illness brought on by the infirmities of old age.

She was nearly 87 years old, a widow of a Civil War veteran and lived in Loyal and vicinity a number of years.

Besides Mrs. Gardner she is survived by a son, Lyman, of Merrill who attended the funeral, and other relatives and many friends.

The Tribune extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
