LEONARD, Roy R., 76, of Thorp died today at home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig?s Catholic Church, with burial in St. Bernard?s Cemetery, both in Thorp.

Friends May call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thorp Funeral Home, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. rosary service.

Roy Leonard

THORP - Roy Ralph Leonard, 76, of Thorp died Aug. 10, 2004, at his home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thorp Funeral Home. A rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

He was born Nov. 19, 1927, in Franksville to Roy and Eleanor (Spang) Leonard. He married Margaret Peters on Nov. 24, 1956, at St. Frederick's Catholic Church in Cudahy. The couple farmed in the Franksville area until moving to Thorp in 1973. They continued to farm in the Thorp area until retiring in 1989, when they moved to their hobby farm in the town of Reseburg.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Leonard, Thorp; five sons, Michael (Mary Lee) Leonard, Spencer, Gregory (Julie) Leonard, Taylor, Joseph (Gail) Leonard, Thorp, Robert Leonard, Chicago, and Tim Leonard, Stanley; daughter, Laura Jensen, Thorp; and 17 grandchildren.
