Foth, Alfred H. (15 March 1919 - 13 May 2005)

Alfred H. Foth, 86, of Marshfield entered eternal life Friday, May 13, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at Hansen Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

Friends May call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday, all at the funeral home.

Alfred was born March 15, 1919, in Spencer, a son of Fred and Martha (Below) Foth. He attended Timlyn school in rural Spencer. Alfred was united in marriage to Luella Gessert on Nov. 3, 1945, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield.

Alfred was employed at Weinbrenner Shoes for more than 30 years, retiring in 1981. He then worked at Weyerhaeuser for three years. Some of Alfred's interests included camping, fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Luella Foth, Marshfield; children, Dale (Debra) Foth, Marshfield, Harlan (Debra) Foth, Long Beach, Miss., Merlin Foth, Pittsville and Gordon (Colleen) Foth, Marshfield. He is further survived by four grandchildren, Joey, Heather, Ryan and Eric; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Norman (Joy) Foth, Wausau.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials in Albert's name will be established at a later date.
