Rites Set for Mrs. Garbisch Resident of Chili Dies at Age 72.

Neillsville - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Chili for Mrs. Minnie Garbisch, 72, Chili, who died Saturday morning at Memorial Hospital. The Rev. L. L. McCormick will officiate and burial will take place in the Zion Lutheran cemetery at Granton. The former Minnie Grobe was born Oct. 30, 1888, in Germany, and came to this country with her parents at the age of six. The family settled at Chili and farmed in the town of Fremont. She was married at Chili in 1905 to Herman Garbisch, who preceded her in death in 1929. Survivors include two sons, Herbert, Eagle River, and Walter, Chicago, Ill; three sisters, Mrs. William (Lena) Bealer and Mrs. Edwin (Bertha) Meissner, Chili; and Mrs. Neal (Mary) Dow, Los Angeles, a half brother, Fred Frank, two brothers, August Grobe, Ledgerwood, N. D., and Edwin Grobe, Chili; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild. One half brother (Otto Frank) preceded her in death.

(Date of Death Nov 12, 1960) Parents of Minnie are Herman Grobe and Ernestina Hoffman Frank Grobe.
