Ferguson, Eva (18 NOV 1879)

Married, at the Colby House, on the 18th inst., by H. J. Blanchard, Esq., Mr. Gus Homsted, and Miss Eva Ferguson, all of Colby.

The 18th was Mr. Blanchard’s birthday, in honor of which a party was given in the evening, and it was given in the evening, and it was after the party that the ceremony was performed. Gus was confounded sly about the matter, and did not let any of the boys know anything of it until a day or two after its consummation, which is the reason it did not appear in the Phonograph last week. Well, Gus we will wish you and your bride happiness untold, and we believe you deserve it, but don’t get up again in the middle of the night to get married, it wears on the constitution.
