Holverson, Edwin Alexander (8 July 1871 - 21* April 1933) * Could be off

This community was greatly shocked Friday afternoon by the news that Edwin Holverson had been found dead in his bed, in a private room or "den" which he had fitted up and used as an office in the barn at his residence on North Grand Ave.

His son Edwin found him in bed and at once summoned medical help, but evidently Mr. Holverson had been bead several hours. Dr. Housley who was called, expressed the belief that he had died of heart failure, an opinion that was concurred in by Dr. M. C. Rosekrans, county coroner, who later viewed the body.

Edwin Alexander Holverson, was born in Neillsville July 8, 1871. When about 15 years of age he went west to Ft. Benton and for years followed the adventurous life of a cowboy.

Returning to Neillsville he went into harness work and later dealt largely in horses and cattle and other property. He was a man or generous impulses, possessed of a keen mind and fine sense of humor and was a most interesting man in many ways.

He was married to Miss Agnes Eagles in 1901, and with the exception of 1 year they since made Neillsville their home. In 1925 the family drove with cars to California stopping along the way at interesting points and returning the next year.

He is survived by his wife and four children, Edwin, a young man at home, Rosalie and Constance also at home, and Lenore, Mrs. Herman Awe of Green Grove. He leaves also two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. W. H. Woodworth, San Diego, Calif. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Schiller's Funeral home, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating.
