Utke, Albert (4 MAY 1871 - 5 Feb 1962)

Owen, Clark County, Wis. - Albert Utke, 90, died of age complications Monday at the Havenet Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Timmerman, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Green Grove, will officiate and burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.

Mr. Utke was born May 4, 1871 in Pommerania, Germany. He came to the United States and settled near Curtiss, Clark County where he had lived most of his life. He was married Nov. 8, 1904 in Hanover. For the past four years he had resided at Havenet Nursing Home. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Grove.

Surviving are a son, Roy of Curtiss; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Albert; three sisters and four brothers.
