Fitzl, Margaret (27 Feb 1921 - 4 Feb 1962)

Greenwood, Clark County, Wis. - Funeral services for Mrs. John Fitzl, 40, of route 2, who died Sunday of injuries suffered in a car accident last Wednesday on Highway 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Rev. Arvid Myhrwold will officiate and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The body will repose at the Hill Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Wednesday, when it will be taken to the church.

The former Margaret Johnson was born Feb. 27, 1921 in Stanley. She was educated in Stanley school and was married in Thorp on July 5, 1938 to John Fitzl who survives her. After their marriage, they lived in Thorp and Donald, and in Illinois. In 1946 they settled on a farm southwest of Greenwood. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Milton and Dennis, at home, and Richard, Ft. Knox, Ky.; three daughters, Mrs. De Forest (Marjorie) Odell, Hedron, Ill., and Donna and Beverly, at home; a grandson; her mother, Mrs. Edna Johnson, Stanley; her grandmother, Mrs. William Hoyt, Milwaukee; five brothers, Robert Johnson, Woodstock, Ill.; Arnold Johnson, Greenwood; Elmer Johnson, Stanley; Donald Johnson, Walworth and Everett, Sheldon, and three sisters, Mrs. Ornell Johnson, Stanley; Mrs. Elwold Arneson, Dorchester and Mrs. Robert Zehrzewicz, California.

She was preceded in death by two sons, James and William, and two brothers.
