Braunsky, Bernice A. (24 May 1927 - 25 Feb. 2005) AUBURNDALE -Bernice A. Braunsky, 77, of 9750 County Road K, Auburndale, died on Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at the Bethel Center in Arpin, where she lived since Jan. 26, 2005.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Auburndale with the Rev. Michael Schelble officiating. Judy Meyer will be the organist along with St. Mary's Church Funeral Choir. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Mike Gass, Nicole and Brooke Janssen, Jessica Eilers, Kevin and Kory Knudson and Leinne Gottbeheut.

Visitations will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rembs /Kundinger Funeral Home and again from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Bernice was born on May 24, 1927, in Milan to Richard and Anna (Peterson) Kramer. She attended Colby Lutheran School and was united in marriage to Robert V. Gass on Feb. 15, 1947, in Colby. He died on Aug. 23, 1970. Her second marriage was to Robert J. Braunsky on July 21, 1969, in Wisconsin Rapids.

Bernice worked in the dryer room of Weyerhaeuser Co. before retiring after 25 years. She enjoyed needlepoint and helping at the American Legion Post 54 Clubhouse in Marshfield.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; one son, Ronald (Marge) Gass of Wisconsin Rapids; two daughters, Carol (Ken) Knudson of Pittsville and Rose (Frank) Huser of Arpin; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters, Darlene Pieper and Rose Spatz, both of Loyal.

Besides her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sandy Suder and Audrey Janssen; one granddaughter, Christina Suder; two brothers, Norman and Earl; and three sisters, Cecelia, Caroline and Leona. Condolences May be sent to http:rembsfh.com.
