Myrin, Andrew (12 MAR 1852 - 16 Jan 1937)

Old Pioneer Resident Laid to Rest.

Andrew Myrin, son of Olof Andersson and Kjerstin Andersdotter, was born in Parish of Mangskog, County of Varmland, Sweden, on March 12, 1852.

He passed away at his home in the town of Reseburg, Clark Co., January 16, 1937, at the age of eighty-four years, ten months and four days. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He immigrated to America in 1881. On September 8, 1886, he was united in marriage to Anna Stigen at Ashland, Wisconsin. The following year they settled in Clark County on a wild forty acres where by many hardships they built up a beautiful home where he resided until his death.

He leaves to mourn: his aged widow, five children, Nels and Charles at home, Melvin at Antigo, Mrs. Hubert (Anna) Horn and Mrs. Theordore (Emma) Braun, both of Greenwood, also six grandchildren.

The funeral was held from the Griebenow Funeral Home at Owen, Rev. Midtleim officiating. Interment was made at the Riverside Cemetery.
