w/flag ABBOTSFORD - Thomas Joseph Schilling 88, Abbotsford, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at Continental Manor in Abbotsford.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday Feb. 12, 2005, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Abbotsford. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery with full military honors by Colby Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2227.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m.

Thomas was born Nov. 16, 1916, in Colby to Joseph and Augusta (Sellung) Schilling.

Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II from March 2, 1942 to Nov. 24, 1945. He then returned to the farm near Cherokee until he retired. After he retired, he operated his own lawn service in Abbotsford.

Thomas is survived by his sisters and brothers, Adeline Raasch, Milwaukee, Mabel (Harvey) Barts, Abbotsford, Margaret (Harlan) Witt, Colby, Herbert (Jean) Schilling, Colby, and Ervin Schilling, Abbotsford.
