ALVIN R CRAMER

Alvin R Cramer, age 89, of Pittsville, died July 10, 2004, at the Bethel Living Center in Arpin where he had resided for the past three weeks.

Al Cramer was born Oct. 28, 1914 at Marathon, WI to George and Lucy (Dietel) Cramer. He was educated at Marathon Schools and graduated from Marathon High School.

Al was self-employed operating a public riding stable at Rhinelander. He moved to the Town of Sherwood in 1955. Al married Lydia Spaete on April 24, 1961 at Alma, WI. They resided in the Clark Co. Town of Sherwood. Al worked as a horse and cattle dealer and also sold hay and corn. He also worked making ice and cutting lumber. Al had been in ill health for the past four years.

Al is survived by his wife Lydia, of Pittsville. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Myron and Merlin; and two sisters, Lucile and Olive.

Services will be private. Buchanan Funeral Home of Neillsville handled arrangements.
