Funeral services for Miss Anne M. Seman, who died July 22 at Grand Canyon, Arizona, were held at 8:30 a.m. July 29, at Fond du Lac, Wis., form the home of her sister, Mrs. Wm. Chandler, 359 Liberty Street, and at nine from St. Joseph’s church. The Rev. J. J. Collins officiated. Burial took place at Calvary cemetery.

The pallbearers were cousin of the deceased, Florian, George, Louis and Stanley Seman, Sam T. Green and Carl Mendleski.

Out of town persons included Mr. and Mrs. John Seman, John Seman Jr., Joseph Seman, Miss Helen Seman, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scholtz, Mrs. Bertha Blakely and Clayton McCann of Granton, Frank Scholtz and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Tullis and family of Waukesha, Mrs. Estelle Keent, Mrs. C. Klocksin, Mrs. A. J. Model, Mrs. M. Gerloski, Mrs. John Murach, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Helinski of Milwaukee, Mrs. L. Daniels, Mrs. M. Peikocki, Mrs. C. H. Wier, Mrs. C. B. Partridge, Miss Elizabeth Bird and Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Proedehl of Cudahy and Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Seman, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Seman, George, Lewis, Florain and Stanley Seman, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Greene, Carl Mendeski, Mrs. Joe Stobbe, and Mrs. L. Birkett of Berling and Mr. and Mrs. John Gordon, Bessie and Agnes Gordon and Mrs. Lucy Wiske of Montello.

Miss Seman, whose death was unexpected and believed to have been hastened by the high altitude of Arizona, was on an educational tour as a member of a group traveling under the auspices of the Omnibus College, Wichita, Kas.

The deceased was born July 20, 1899, in Neshkoro; was graduated from the Fond du Lac High School in 1917. She taught for a number of years in rural schools and in 1927 was graduated at the University of Wisconsin after completing the letters and science course. For the last four years she held a position in the public schools of Cudahy.

Surviving the deceased leaves her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John Seman of Granton, Wis., three sisters, Mrs. Walter J. Murach, and Mrs. Chandler of Fond du Lac, Miss Helen, residing at Granton, three brothers, Benjamin of San Francisco, John and Joseph at home. There are two nieces and one nephew. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
