Huntley, Carol (Marriage - *18 Aug. 1932)* Could be off

A very pretty wedding took place Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Huntley of York, when their young daughter, Carol, became the bride of Merie Bushnell of Beaver.

The bride was charming in a gown of Nile green silk crepe and carried a shower bouquet of sweet pea and snapdragons.

Attending the bridal couple were Mrs. Irene Gross, sister of the bride, and Beryl Lawrence, a cousin. The bridal march from Lohengren was played by Mrs. H. A. Triplette of Sioux City, Iowa, a cousin of the groom.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Norman Grandy, pastor of the M. E. Church of Loyal, after which a bounteous wedding supper was served to the following guests. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Huntley, grandparents of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Bushnell; Mr. and Mrs. Orin Lawrence and daughters, Franny and Olive; Mr. and Mrs. Horace Lawrence and children, Gilbert, Velda and Vera and Darcy Gross, nephew of the bride.

A wedding dance was given at Oakwood pavilion. The young couple left on a trip through southern Wisconsin and Central Iowa and will be at home to their many friends after Sept. 15th at their home near Owen.
