OWEN - Stanley Kara, 88, of Owen died Dec. 6, 2004, at Clark County Health Care Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen. Burial, with military rites by the Lublin American Legion, will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen.
He was born Jan. 5, 1916, in Chicago. He was a veteran of World War II and had farmed in the towns of Reseburg and Longwood. He also had been a bus driver in Chicago.
Survivors include one son, Bill (Debra) Kara, Colby; stepdaughter, Bernette Brown, Withee; 12 grandchildren, seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and his sister, Gladys Pawlowski, Marshfield.
