(Rhinelander News)

Miss Clara J. Peterson of Merrill and Arthur J. LeClaire of Tripoli were married Wednesday in this city at the St. Mary's Church Parsonage by the Rev. Father A. M. Wuchter. Miss Olive LeClaire, sister of the groom and Miss Minnie Peterson, sister of the bride, were maids of honor. Following a short wedding trip to Minneapolis, St. Paul, Chippewa Falls, and Dorchester, Clark County, Wis., the couple will make their home in Tripoli.

Miss Peterson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson of Merrill. She is a graduate of the Merrill High School and during the past five years has been teaching school in Iowa, North Dakota and Wisconsin. During the past two years she has taught near Tripoli, where the couple first met each other.

Mr. LeClaire is one of the coming young men of Oneida Co. He ahs been in Tripoli during the past seven years, and for the greater part of the time was with the Stolle Lumber Co. as bookkeeper. He left the employ of that concern last February to go into business for himself. He is in the logging and lumber business and does some real estate work.

Last fall the people of his town showed their confidence in him by electing him to the office of town chairman, and prior to that he was town clerk.
