Miltimore, Bradbury G. (21 Dec 1852 - 23 NOV 1914)

B. G. Miltimore, one of the few remaining early pioneer businessmen of this village (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.), died Monday morning at 8 o'clock, after a four weeks illness with a complication of gravel and uremia poisoning. During the short time he was sick he rallied several times and seemed to be recovering, but owing to his advanced age he weakened rapidly towards the last until death finally claimed him. He was nearly 62 years old.

Bradbury Green Miltimore was born Dec. 21, 1852 at Patton, Province of Quebec, Canada, and moved with his parents to Plainfield, Waushara Co., Wis., in 1854, where most of his early life was spent. After he had grown up he accepted a position as clerk in a store in New York State, from which place he came to this village in 1878, going into partnership with his brother John in the general store business, under the firm name of Miltimore Bros. They dissolved partnership a few years ago, since which time B. G. Miltimore conducted the store alone until the present time.

When "Brad", as he was familiarly called by many friends, first came to the place where Dorchester now stands, the railroad extended only a few miles north of town and the now….(the rest of my copy was cut off)
