Ella (Allen) Lee (1/13/1857-1934?)

Mrs. Ella Lee, aged 77, died at her home here at 7 a.m. Sunday morning after a long period of illness. In spite of her illness, her death was unexpected, as she had been able to be up a part of each day and her condition was not considered serious.

Funeral services were held from the Lee home at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. G.W. Longenecker, Neillsville, officiating, and burial took place at the Windfall cemetery.

Ella Allen was born in Dodge County on Jan. 13, 1857, and came to Clark County with her parents at the age of 9. She has been a resident of Granton ever since that time.

She was married to Noble Ell Lee on April 18, 1873, and they celebrated their golden wedding anniverary here in 1923. Mr. Lee died on April 18, 1925.

Surviving relatives are three children, Price, on the home farm; Gustie (Mrs. L.G. Morris), Delafield; and Rollie, at Florence, OR. There are two sisters, Mrs. George Miller, Washington; an Mrs. H. Pietenpol, Granton, and ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Harland Kintzele, Leslie Yorkston, Floyd Pietenpol, W. Crothers, Arthur Berg, and Neil Kidd.
