Goehring, Florence (20 May 1927)

(Marshfield Herald)

The marriage of Miss Florence Goehring and Harold Kuethe, two popular young people of Marshfield, Wis., took place at the home of the latter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kuethe of West Sixth St. Friday, May 20, 1927. The ceremony was performed by Rev. O. Hensel, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church at ten o'clock in the morning in the presence of a few immediate relatives and friends.

Sylvia Haverson served as maid of honor and the groom's brother, Arnold Kuethe, a member of the faculty of the Prairie du Chien High School, attended as best man. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served, after which the young couple left on a motor trip to Milwaukee, Chicago and other points. They are expected home this week and will go to housekeeping at 811 East Fifth St.

The bride is a graduate of Loyal High School and has served the past five years as secretary of F. L. Musback, director of the local Branch Experiment Station. The groom is a graduate of the McKinley High School Class of 1921 and from the school of pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin class of 1924. Since then he has been employed at the Winterburn Drug Store, where his courteous and efficient service has been greatly appreciated. Since April 1926 he has been a registered pharmacist. Both Mr. Kuethe and his bride have a host of friends here in social and business circles, with whom the Herald joins in extending congratulations and best wishes for a happy future.
