McVean, Frances (21? May 1918)

Fenhouse-McVean

On Tuesday evening last at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. McVean, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Frances, to Mr. Henry Fenhouse, son of Mrs. Wm. Fenhouse.

At 9 o’clock the young couple attended by Miss Divina Fenhouse and Frank McVean quietly entered the room and Rev. J. B. Braddock spoke the works [?words] which united the two hearts for the remainder of life’s journey.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of pale georgette silk crepe and carried a bouquet of Narcissus.

The bride is one of our choicest young ladies, from a little girl she has grown up in our midst. She was a member of the graduating class of 1917 of the Spencer High School.

After congratulations, the guests were escorted to the dining room which was very beautifully decorated with cut flowers. A bounteous and delicious wedding supper was served.

The groom is well known here, having made Spencer his home for the last ten years. At present he is employed by the Soo Line.

They received many beautiful and useful gifts.

In the near future Mr. and Mrs. Fenhouse will make their home in Spencer.

This office joins with their many friends in wishing them a long, pleasant and prosperous life.—Spencer Record
