McGrath, Mary E. (12 Augl 1897 - 3 Sep 1924)

Mrs. Wm. McGrath died at her home at Holway on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 1924.

Mary Ellen Vandehey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Vandehey, was born at Holder, Wis. Aug. 12, 1897. She was united in marriage to Wm. McGrath July 13, 1920. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and two small daughters, her parents, five brothers and three sisters. The funeral was held Saturday morning at St. Balthasar's Church. Interment was in the St. Balthazar's Cemetery. Rev. Stenz officiated. The pallbearers were James, Roy and Carl Morrow, Ralph and Harold Vandehey and Charles Hughes. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Elmer Sullivan, Herman and May Vandehey, Mrs. Alice Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. James Hayes and Messrs. Wm. and Ed Hayes from Stratford, Mr. Alfred Vandehey, Peter Hoolihon of Kaukauna, Henry Vandehey from Hollandtown, Peter Vandehey and John Coffer from Freed, Mrs. Blainer from Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. John Powers from Unity and Mrs. Kennedy from Ogema.

The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of their friends and neighbors in their bereavement.
