Stroinski, Joseph J. (10 Feb 1890 - 22 Jul 1929)

Mr. Joseph J. Stroinski, aged 39 years, 5 months and 12 days, died of pulmonary tuberculosis at his home in the town of Taft on Monday, July 22, 1929. He was born at St. Paul, Minn., Feb. 10, 1890, and eight years ago was united in marriage to Miss Wallie Ogurek of Thorp, Clark county, Wis. During the World War he served seventeen months in the U. S. Army on the Mexican border and was a member of the Cecil Tormey American Legion Post No. 118 of Thorp. He leaves to mourn, his wife and one son, aged five years, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Stroinski, four brothers, Frank, Mike, Ted and John, and three sisters, Miss Josephine, Mrs. Edna Strellezeski of Chicago, Mrs. Verine Teclaw of Thorp.

The funeral takes place today from St. Hedwig's Church, Father Balcer of Lublin, officiating, and the American Legion firing squad sounding taps at the grave at St. Hedwig's Cemetery.
