Krause, Leonard (22 October 1917 - 06 October 1983)

SPENCER -- Leonard Krause, 65, a resident of the Marathon County Health Care Center, Wausau, died there early Thursday morning.

Services will be Saturday at the Rux Funeral Home, Spencer. The Rev. Timothy Duesenberg will officiate. Burial will be in the West Spencer Cemetery.

He was born October 22, 1917 in the town of Brighton, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krause. He married Alice Neumann November 7, 1942 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Town of Brighton, where the couple farmed.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Melvin of Spencer and Richard of Stratford; six daughters, Ellen and Shirley, both of Spencer, Jane of Stratford, Betty of green Bay, Mrs. Bonnie (Dave) Domine of Marshfield, and Mary Jackson of Merrill; 14 grandchildren; one brother, Hilbert of Milwaukee; and one sister, Mrs. Gladys VanderMolen of Marshfield.
