As Armistice Day 1918 marks an important event in World History, so Armistice Day 1925 marks an important event in the lives of Miss Ruth Steele and Mr. John Zimmer of Reseburg, Clark County, Wis., for on this day at 10 o'clock at the M. E. Parsonage at Stanley this happy couple was united in the holy bonds of matrimony. Rev. Johnson officiating. The bride was attired in peach colored canton crepe and carried a shower bouquet of roses and chrysanthemums and was attended by her sister, Mrs. Roman Brunett, who wore orchid colored crepe and carried carnations. The groom was attended by Arthur Steele, brother of the bride. After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Steele, where a bounteous dinner and supper were served to immediate relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Zimmer have a host of friends in the community who join in wishing them much joy and happiness in their union. The newlyweds will reside on the Zimmer farm in the town of Reseburg, where Mr. Zimmer will continue assisting his father on the farm.
