Prajowska, Jessie (28 NOV 1923)

A very pretty wedding of much interest to people was solemnized at St. Hedwig's Church in Chicago Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 28, 1923, at four o'clock, when Jessie, daughter of Mrs. Mary Prajowska of Chicago, was united in marriage to Michael Szymanski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Szymanski of Thorp, Clark County, Wis. The bride wore a beautiful gown and wreath and veil, and carried a beautiful bouquet of sweet peas, chrysanthemums and roses. Miss Ana Prajowska, sister of the bride, was flower girl and carried a beautiful bouquet of pink roses. Miss Helen Szymanski, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. She wore a beautiful gown of green georgette crepe and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Mr. Steve Markowski acted as best man. Eleanor Kowalski, cousin of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and carried a bouquet of roses. Mr. John Holda, the groom's best friends, acted as usher. A bountiful dinner and supper were served to the assemble guests and a fine celebration of the vent was held. The bride is a most winsome and pleasing young lady, for she combines all the qualities which go to make up a successful helpmate. The groom is one of the progressive and industrious young men of sterling qualities and holds a very fine position at Chicago. They will reside at 2427 McLean Ave. They enjoy a large circle of friends, all of who wish them much happiness and prosperity.

Those from far who attended the wedding were Mrs. Steve Szymanski and son, John, and daughter, Miss Cecelia, from Thorp.
