Mr. Merrill VandeBerg and Miss Betty Faucher were united in marriage on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 1929, Rev. G. W. Longenecker officiating. The ceremony took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Longenecker. Miss Aurelia Van Slett of Unity was bridesmaid and Mr. Lawrence VandeBerg, both of the groom, acted as best man. After the ceremony the wedding party had picture taken and all returned to the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abram VandeBerg, in the town of York, Clark County, Wis., where a fined wedding supper was served and a shower given to the newlyweds. The rooms were prettily decorated in blue and white, with white bells.

Those in attendance were: Mr. and Mrs. St. Dennis, Mr. and Mrs. Eldor Luchterhand, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Faucher of Marshfield; George Blancher of Unity; and Aurelia Van Slett and Mrs. Amanda Faucher of Marshfield, and Lucille Stanley of Greenwood.

The groom was brought up on the home farm where he always lived until the past four years, when he was employed in Marshfield, most of that time working for the Roddis Co., where he is still employed. He is an industrious and energetic young man. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Amanda Faucher of Marshfield and is a young lady of attractive personality. She is also employed by the Roddis Co.

The young couple begins housekeeping at once in Marshfield.
