Freund, Susie (2 OCT 1929)

Mr. Martin Feuerstein and Miss Susie Freund were united in marriage at Corpus Christie Catholic Church, Bakerville, Wednesday morning, Oct. 2, 1929, Rev. Fr. Hoffman officiating. Miss Tillie Freund, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Mr. Ray Burr of Hewitt, Wood County, a close friend of the groom, was best man. They were also attended by Mr. Edwin Freund, bother of the bride and Miss Marion Feuerstein, sister of the groom. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Freund in the town of Lincoln, Wood County, about 70 guests being present. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Feuerstein of Marshfield. In July 1928 he came here and in company with Earl Bruhn, established the B. & F machine and Repair Shop, which is now a well established business. He is a skillful mechanic and has made a good reputation throughout the community, not only for his fine service in a business way, but also as a good citizen in all respects.

The bride has a limited acquaintance here but is most highly spoken of by all who know her. She has been employed for several years in Marshfield.

They left by auto on an extended trip through Minnesota, South Dakota and other western states.

On their return about Oct. 15, they will begin housekeeping in the Amelia Rupprecht house on the north side.

The Press joins in congratulations and best wishes.
