Crystal:

First, many thanks for posting this obituary. Grace's husband (Otto Abel) was the son of Frank H. Abel and Anna L. Franz. Anna had a sister Wilhemine Franz, the spouse of John N. Kippenhan (my Kippenhan g-grandparents).

So all of Grace's children are/were my father's second cousins.

Otto Abel & Grace Herr had seven children. Two of the children preceded her in death.

Their son Albert F. Abel died in McHenry Co., Ill. (single car accident) on Oct. 14, 1955. He was born Feb. 10, 1935.

Their daughter Yovonne L. Abel was the spouse of Richard J. Rondorf. She was born March 10, 1939 and died Oct. 08, 1971.

Best regards H.A. Kippenhan, Jr.
