Schultz, Mary C. (4 Jul 1873 - 5 Sep 1926)

Mary Catherine Schultz, nee Krause, passed away at the Marshfield Hospital, Sunday, Sept. 5, after a brief illness. Mrs. Schultz came to the town of Grant, Clark County, Wis. with her parents when only a few years old, from Milwaukee, where she was born July 4, 1873.

She was married to Wm. Schultz in 1896. This union was blessed with ten children. Three of them preceded her in death, as did also her husband. The following children mourn her departure: Paul of Casenovia, Wis., Mrs. Edna Hunter of Camas, Wash., Clarence of Richland Center, Jesse of the town of Washburn, John of Beloit and Vivian and Leland at home; her mother-in-law of Neillsville, a son-in-law and two daughters-in-law; and five grandchildren. Also four brothers and one sister.

The remains were laid to rest in the Windfall Cemetery Thursday afternoon after services had been held at the house, conducted by Rev. Theo. D. Martens.
