Lucille L. Hoback, 72, Greenwood, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11a.m., on Friday, May 2, at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. The Rev. Douglas Bjerke officiated. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ken Benedict, Dan Doberstein, Anthony Doberstein and Jeffrey Doberstein.

Lucille Lowella Alberts was born on May 25, 1930, in Osseo, to Ray and Mary [nee Riphenburg] A;berts. She attended school in Humbird, and later married Charles Owen Hoback in DeKalb, Ill. While living in DeKalb, she worked for Ideal Industries. She retired in 1990 and moved to Neillsville.

Survivors include three aunts, Dodothy Ehlers, Ethel Riphenburg and Janette Riphenburg; and many cousins.

Preceding her in death were one sister, Rita Conro; her mother, Mary Bliven; her father, Ray Alberts; and her husband, Charles Hoback.

The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, assisted the family with arrangements.
