Winter, Norma (Marriage - 20 May 1925)

Mr. Albert Marg and Miss Norma Winter were united in marriage Wednesday afternoon, May 20, at the Grant Lutheran Church, the pastor, Rev. Reiff officiating.

The groom was attended by his brother, Frank Marg and the bride’s brother Arno Winter. Miss Edna Lautenbach and Miss Charlotte Reiff were bridesmaids. The bride wore a white canton crepe dress and carried a bouquet of roses; the bridesmaids wore lavender crepe de chine, and carried carnations. Immediately of after the ceremony the bridal party drove to the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Herman Gluch in the town of Grant where a bountiful wedding dinner was served for relatives and friends.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Marg of North Pine Valley. He grew up on the home farm, but for several years he has been employed in Stelloh Brothers’ implement business. He is a young man of excellent character and attends strictly to his duties; he is competent in his line of work, courteous and accommodating with customers and liked by all who know him.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Winter of the town of Lynn. She was educated in the local schools and has always lived at home. All who knew her speak in high terms of her lady like qualities and her fitness for the duties of her new home.

In the evening of their wedding day they came to Neillsville and began housekeeping in the house the groom recently bought from Henry Ghent, and which was already furnished and prepared for a home. The Press joins their many friends in offering good wishes.
