Rowe, Mollie M. (22 Mar 1896 - 25 NOV 1921)

Mrs. Norman Rowe died in Boise City, Idaho, Nov. 25th, 1921, from pneumonia, after only a few days illness. The body was brought here (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) for burial, the funeral being held at the Methodist Church on Thursday Dec. 1st, Rev. Mallory officiating. Mollie M. Kidd was born at Bloom City, Wis., March 22, 1896. When five years of age she came with her parents to Granton, Clark County, where she grew to womanhood and where the most of her life was spent. On Aug. 24, 1917 she was united in marriage to Norman Rowe. The past year was spent in Idaho, where they went for her health. She was of an affectionate disposition, bright and winning in her ways, so that friendship's circle was to her a large one. She will be greatly missed by a large number of friends, as well as in the home circle. She is survived by her husband, mother, step-father, and three brothers, besides other relatives. Interment was in the Loyal Cemetery beside her father. The relatives have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.

Salo, John (1881? - 16 Dec 1921)

John Salo, living about three miles south of Owen, Clark County, Wis., committed suicide by hanging last Friday afternoon. Coroner C. M. Taylor was called, accompanied by Dr. Dike of Owen, proceeded to the place and found death was caused by strangulation with a large size wrapping cord. A letter to his brother written in the Finnish language said "The whole world is against me" and warned his brother not to trust anybody and mentioned "he would finish it all." Mr. Salo was about 40 years of age.
