Faldeschwiler, Nicholas (Nov 1857 - 27 Augl 1914)

Nicholas Faldeschwiler, aged fifty-six years and nine months, died at his home in this village (Stanley, Clark County, Wis.) on Thursday, Aug. 27, 1914. Mr. Faldeschwiler was born in Baden, Germany, and came to America in 1893, settling on a farm in the town of Worden. For several years he followed this occupation when failing health forced him to retire and he took up his residence in this village. He was a good citisen and enjoyed the esteem of all who knew him. The funeral, which took place at St. Bernard's Church on Sunday afternoon last, was very largely attended, Father Neises officiating. He leaves a devoted wife and four children, all resident here as follows: Andrew Faldeschwiler, Mrs. Louis Henke and Misses Mary and Anna Faldeschwiler, also five brothers, Alois Faldeschwiler of the town of Worden and four others still residents of Germany. Interment took place in the Catholic Cemetery.
