Beede, Clara B. (4 SEP 1892 - 22 JUL 1923)

Mrs. Irwin Beede of Houghtonburg, died suddenly in an Eau Claire Hospital, where she had been taken for treatment, at an early hour last Sunday morning. The remains were taken to Merrillan, where funeral services were held at the Methodist Church on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. W. H. Slack preaching the sermon. Burial was made in the Houghtonburg Cemetery.

Clara Belle Markham was born near Humbird, Clark County, Wis. on Sept. 4, 1892. Here she grew to womanhood, and on Oct. 11, 1909, she was united in marriage with Irwin Beede. They made their home on the farm in Houghton burg since that time, until her death. Deceased is survived by her husband, two sons, and two daughters, her mother, now residing at Strum, three brothers and one sister. A number of other relatives mourn with the immediate family. Mrs. Beede was a young woman well liked in the community, a good homemaker, whose untimely taking away (the rest of my copy was cut off)
