A resident of this village (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) many years ago, John Molzahn, died on March 25th, 1923, at Hastings, Minn. Of his death the Winona Independt says: "John Molzahn, aged 82 years, born in Prussia, for 38 years a resident of Winona, who went to Hastings two years ago, died in that city Sunday. The body has been brought to the undertaking parlors of J. J. Kelly in this city. He is survived by seven daughters and one son, Mrs. Mary Cisewski, Mrs. J. P. Czapiewski, Mrs. Thomas Hall, Mrs. Arthur Moore, all of Winona, Mrs. Josephine Goltz of Chicago, Mrs. John Steber of Elkador, Iowa, Mrs. Oscar Paulson and Fred Molzahn, both of Rochester."

The burial was in Winona on Wednesday of last week. Mrs. Molzahn died at their home in Winona six years ago. The deceased was a shoemaker, which trade he followed during the years he made this place his home. The family lived where Mrs. Stanley's residence now is. Mr. Molzahn and the members of the family are kindly remembered by those who knew them while they resided here.
