Way, Angeline (11 Jul 1830 - 17 Feb 1913)

Mrs. Angeline Way, widow of Samuel Way, and one of the oldest residents of this locality, died Feb. 17, 1913, at the age of 82 years, 7 months and 6 days.

She was born in the state of Maine, and coming west, she and her husband settled on their farm a short distance north of Neillsville, Clark County, about fifty-four years ago, and she has lived there until her death. Mr. Way died about twenty-five years ago.

Mrs. Way met all the pioneer hardships of early days in Clark County bravely, and possessed all the good qualities of the old fashioned mothers of New England, doing well her work in life.

The funeral was held at the home on Thursday last, Rev. H.A. Risser preaching the funeral sermon.

She is survived by her sons, Seward Way, who remained at home with her, and Arthur Way, of Watertown, S.D., and daughters, Mrs. Chas. Trumbull, of Chicago, and Mrs. Robt. Carlisle, of Lake Benton, Minn.
