Murray, Amanda (13 Jun 1985 - 13 Jul 2002)

Amanda Lynn Murray, 17, Loyal, died on Saturday, Jul 13, 2002, as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jul 17, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. The Rev. Daniel Zimmerman officiated. Burial was in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Clintsman Jr., Donovan Plaskey, Steve Plaskey, Paul Cwikla, Pete Schecklman, Kyle Prior and Justin Lindner.

Amanda Lynn Murray was born on Jun 13, 1985, in Marshfield, to Shelley Murray and Robert Sebold. She attended schools in Greenwood and Loyal and was a member of the Loyal Class of 2004. She worked at McDonald’s, Abbotsford. She was a candidate for the 2002 Miss Loyal Corn Festival title.

Survivors include her mother, Shelley Hamm, Loyal; her father, Robert Sebold, Springdale, Utah; her stepfather, Randy Hamm, Unity; one sister, Amy Murray, Loyal; two brothers, DuWayne Peterson, Loyal, and Dustin Peterson, Loyal; one stepsister, Brooke Oelke, Loyal; her grandparents, Richard and Debbie Murray, Sharon, Robert and Patricia Doherty, Arkdale, and Harold Hamm, Unity; her great-grandparents, Clarence and Eleanore Lehman, Fontana; three uncles, David Sebold, Orrin Sebold and Robin Peterson; four aunts, MaryAnn Tytor, Tina Peterson, Debbie Sebold and Mary Stangl; and several cousins. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Frieda Hamm and Orrin and Betty Sebold.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
