Redmond, Charles (27 Mar 1858 - 26 Jul 1908)

Chas. L. Redmond died at his home in Loyal, Clark County Sunday of appendicitis, aged fifty years. He was born in the State of Maine and came west with the family in 1866, coming to Clark County in 1867. He was married twenty-four years ago to Eva Cannon at Loyal and they have lived there ever since. Mr. Redmond has spent his life in the lumber business, being in the employ of A.A. Graves for several years and later in business for himself. He was an excellent citizen, a good husband and father, and a man of good repute among those who knew him. He leaves, besides his wife, son and daughter, three brothers, Geo. K., Greenleaf L., and Marcellus C. Redmond; also four sisters, Celestia Moran, who lives in Maine, Mary Churchill of Portland, Ore., Emma Hosely of Boise, Idaho and Anna Robinson of the town of Weston. The funeral took place Tuesday at Loyal.
