Ascott, George (? - 05 Feb 1906)

A telegram to Jos. Morley Monday announced the death of George Ascott in Chicago, where he was taking a course in medical college. Mr. Ascott, as most of our readers know, ran a drug store here (Neillsville, Clark County) for several years, selling out to Victor Woelffer in 1901 and going to Montana the next spring. Later he entered in a course in a medical college. Mr. Ascott had many friends here. He was a prominent Mason, and was well liked in a social and business way. His wife has the sympathy of her many friends in Neillsville.

The funeral took place at Sparta, Mr. Ascott's former home.
