Krause, Elsie (Marriage - 17 Jan 1906)

Mr. Wilfred Heaslett and Miss Elsie Krause were married Jan. 17, 1906, at Sioux City, Iowa, Rev. J.W. Frizzell, the Congregational minister of that city, officiating. Both the bride and groom are employed as attendants at the State Hospital for the Insane at Yankton, S.D., a short distance from Sioux City. The groom is the son of Mrs. Annie Heaslett. He was brought up in Neillsville, Clark County and vicinity and is a young man of sterling character. After taking a course at the Agricultural College in Madison he secured a position at the Mendota Hospital, having the care of the stock. While there he took an interest in the other work in the hospital and became well equipped for other positions in such an institution. For a short time he had a position in the Chippewa County Asylum, resigning to accept his present place at Yankton.

The bride's home is in Brown Co., Wis. She has also made a specialty of the same work as her husband's. Last summer she visited friends here and made a number of acquaintances, by whom she is regard most highly. The best wishes of their friends are extended to the young couple.
