Bio: Neff, Daniel & Lydia

Daniel C. Neff was born in 1834 to Isaac and Polly (Black) Neff. He married Lydia Martin in 1868. They moved to Clark County, Wisconsin in 1875 where they purchased a farm in Levis Township at Day Corners. Their children were: Mary, born May 22, 1869 who married George Frantz Apr. 11, 1907; Myrtle, Born Aug. 19, 1870 who married Frank Maxwell Dec. 13, 1892 and they were the parents of Jennie, born Sept. 7, 1893 who married Keith Marrett in June, 1921 and they were the parents of Irene, born Aug. 19, 1898 who married Leo Miller in September of 1920.

In 1900, Daniel and Lydia moved to Neillsville where they resided for seventeen years before Lydia died July 16, 1917. She was laid to rest in the Neillsville City Cemetery and Daniel was buried beside her, November 5th of that same year.
